Maps
Battlefield 2142 comes with ten maps. Three new maps were included in the Northern Strike booster pack. Another new map was included in the 1.40 update, and two new community maps were later released through the 1.50 update, bringing the total number of maps to sixteen. The Tunis Harbor map is unique because unlike other maps which use either a smaller or larger portion of the same playfield depending on the number of players, its 16 and 32 player versions take place on two different playfields; this brings the total number of maps to seventeen.
